TLSU sport facilities are designated for recreational or competitive athletic activities of student and staff members and usually at times the local community as well. While the exact facilities vary by university size, focus and funding — general categories include:
1)Fitness Centers and Gyms
From free weights to machine for weight training and resistance exercise rooms.
2)Cardio zones with everything from treadmills, stationary bikes, and rowing machines to elliptical trainers
3)Sport Halls or Multi-Purpose Indoor Courts
– These are used for basketball courts, volleyball courts as well as occasionally other indoor team sports.
4)Indoor 5-a-side (soccer), futsal and other leisure sport spaces We are also participated in futsal championship, and our students secured the 3rd place.
5)Swimming Pools
—Competitive, fitness and recreational indoor Olympic-size swimming pools.
The university in partnership with Lankaran Olympic Complex has a mutual Understanding making it possible for both the students and the staff of the university to use the services for the purpose and within the context of the Understanding.
7)Sports medicine facilities focusing on prevention of injuries and rehabilitation of injured personnel.
- Facilities responsible for performance evaluation and enhancement, commonly referred to as "sports science" laboratories.
8)Outdoor Recreation Areas
- Open space with "walking, running, and cycling trails"for everyday workouts and recreation.
All this enables team participation, either through intramural or varsity teams, where competition is encouraged for the programmes offered by the university, as well as promoting accessibility for recreation for the inscribed students so as to promote their health.
9)Stadiums - address objects used for large venues (major sports) football (soccer) field
10)Gyms and Fitness Centers — Indoor facilities that house equipment for strength training, cardio, and group fitness exercises.
11)Basketball Courts - Hardcourt surfaces for outdoor and sometimes indoor playing locations with marked lines indicating hoop locations
12)Other games including draughts, chess and dominoes.
They are well-known grounds within complex of our university field as a land reservation, alongside an individual and structured group games.
All this enables team participation, either through intramural or varsity teams, where competition is encouraged for the programmes offered by the university, as well as promoting accessibility for recreation for the inscribed students so as to promote their health. In addition, our university has sports clubs and fitness classes for all students wishing to take up certain sports activities.
